The Health and Care Act 2022 legally requires registered healthcare providers to offer training on learning disabilities and autism for their staff.
The Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training on Learning Disability and Autism is the UK Government’s preferred and recommended package to support registered providers in meeting this legislative requirement.
This Tier 1 E-learning Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training course is now available FREE through The Health & Safety Group in collaboration with eIntegrity.
The course ensures healthcare professionals understand how to provide person-centred care and make reasonable adjustments. Inspired by the tragic story of Oliver McGowan, the training promotes awareness and empathy, equipping staff to create a more inclusive environment for individuals with learning disabilities and autism.
